Three ways in
- Upload a file. Every plan, including Free. Export your history from your broker and drop it into Leaf Edge. Nothing is saved until you have checked the preview.
- Direct API sync. Pro and Ultimate. Leaf Edge fetches your broker's reports with read-only credentials when you run a sync. Available for Interactive Brokers.
- SnapTrade. Pro and Ultimate. A read-only connection that brings new trades in by itself, a day behind.
Use one way in for each account, so no trade is counted twice.
Upload a file
- 01Export your trade history from your broker as a file. Each guide below names the export and where to find it.
- 02In Leaf Edge, open Sync, choose Upload File and drop the file in. Leaf Edge works out which broker it came from.
- 03Check the preview. Nothing is saved until you commit, and every row left out has its reason.
- 04Press Commit import.
Each file can be up to 4 MB and 2,000 rows. For a longer history, export shorter date ranges and import the files one at a time.

Direct API sync
You create read-only credentials in your broker's portal and save them in Leaf Edge, then run the sync when you want new trades.
SnapTrade
You sign in at your broker through SnapTrade once; after that, new trades arrive by themselves, a day behind. SnapTrade brings no futures.
Not listed?
If your broker isn't here, Leaf Edge has no guide for it yet. The broker directory shows whether it connects another way, and you can still add trades one at a time with Add Trade on the Trades page, or ask us for your broker.
