Coming from Tradervue
A Tradervue alternative, with the limits up front.
Leaf Edge imports per-fill CSVs: one row for every execution. Tradervue's standard download has one row per trade, and it doesn't import. Your Tradervue journal stays in Tradervue: tags and screenshots don't come across.

What comes across
What imports from Tradervue
Leaf Edge builds every trade from its fills, so the file it needs lists each execution. Here is what happens to each part of a Tradervue-style file, and to the rest of Tradervue.
A per-fill CSV, one row per execution
ImportsWith Date, Time, Symbol, Quantity, Price and Side columns, the layout of Tradervue's generic import format. Leaf Edge pairs the fills into trades and works out each trade's P&L.Source: Tradervue import format
Tradervue's Trades download
Doesn't importThe Download CSV button in Tradervue's Trades section exports your trade list, one row per trade. Leaf Edge builds trades from fills, so a file without them gives it nothing to read.Source: Tradervue help centre
Rows without a Side
Doesn't importTradervue's format lets a negative quantity mean a sell. Leaf Edge needs Buy, Sell, Short or Cover on every row and skips a row without one.Source: Tradervue import format
Notes
Text onlyA Notes or Comment column is kept as plain text in the trade's note. It doesn't become a journal entry.
Tags and screenshots
Doesn't importNot read. They stay in Tradervue.
Commission and fees
PartlyOne cost column is read: Commission, or Fee or Fees when there is no Commission. Tradervue's TransFee and ECNFee columns aren't, so add them into Commission before you import.Source: Tradervue import format
Options
PartlyAn Option column such as JAN 12 125 CALL becomes an option contract, dated to that month's third Friday because the column gives no day. Weekly contracts written with their day, such as APR26 13, aren't read correctly yet.Source: Tradervue import format
Futures, forex and crypto rows
PartlyClassed from the symbol alone. Stocks and options are the tested types, so check the rest after importing.
Execution times
PartlyThe file's times carry no time zone, and Leaf Edge doesn't ask which one they are in yet, so check your fills' times after importing.
File import is free on every plan, including Free, and a Tradervue import uses no broker slot. See which other files Leaf Edge reads, and how far each is tested, on the broker support page.
Getting the file
Where to find a per-fill file
Tradervue's help centre documents its trade export, the Trades download, and that file doesn't import. These files do.
- The broker files behind your Tradervue history. If you imported your broker's exports into Tradervue, import those into Leaf Edge directly: the broker support page shows which formats Leaf Edge reads and how far each is tested.
- A file in Tradervue's generic import format, if you built one to import into Tradervue. It imports into Leaf Edge too, as long as every row has a Side.
- In Leaf Edge, open Sync, choose Upload File and drop the file in. Check the preview, and any skipped rows, before you import.
