ReLive

ReLive steps through a real market session one bar at a time, so you can rehearse a decision before the pattern comes round again. It is part of Pro and Ultimate; on Free, the ReLive page shows what the plan adds instead.

ReLive replays the market, not your own trades. The trades you place in it are simulated and stay separate from your imported trades and your trading performance.

• US equities and ETFs only.
• Sessions up to yesterday's close. The most recent session is released the next day, so today can't be replayed yet.
• History from 28 March 2023.
• How long a range you can load depends on the candle timeframe. If a range is too long, ReLive says so and asks you to shorten it or pick a larger timeframe.

The ReLive page opens on Pick Your Replay, with four ways in:

• Custom Replay: choose a ticker, a date range, a candle timeframe, a starting balance and, under Realism settings, a commission per trade and slippage. Then press Launch Replay.
• Train on a Moment: a short list of notable sessions, played as a known event or as a blind challenge.
• Mystery Challenge: six months of daily bars with the symbol hidden until the reveal. It runs in one sitting: leaving or refreshing the page ends the run unsaved.
• Synthetic Tape: 500 generated candles for pattern practice, with no market data.

Under the chart: skip back 50 bars, step back one bar, play or pause, step forward one bar and skip to the end. You can also drag the timeline. Speed runs from 0.25× to 8×, where 1× is one bar a second.

Shortcuts pause while a dialog or a text box is active.

The ticket is simulated. It takes market, limit and stop orders (MKT, LMT and STP), with an optional take profit and stop loss. Size an order in shares, or by Risk %: a percentage of your simulated balance, worked out against the stop distance. The position panel shows your shares, average price, open and realised P&L and fees, with buttons to close part or all of the position or reverse it.

Market and stop fills move against you by the slippage you set, and commission is charged on each closing fill. The summary at the end of a session explains how fills work.

Press Save & Exit during a session, or Save practice session on the summary. Saved sessions appear in the Practice Log on the ReLive page and under Full History, where you can sort them and delete ones you don't want. A saved session keeps your trades and results, not the original candles.
