What Sage does
Sage is a coach for the trades you have already taken. It reviews them against your own data, points out patterns in how you trade, and checks how closely you follow your playbooks.
It doesn't make trade calls or forecasts. Sage won't tell you to buy, sell or hold, won't pick a symbol for you and gives no price targets. Its answers are educational, not financial advice.
Where to find it
- Sage in the top bar opens your conversations, with starter questions such as Find my biggest leak.
- Ask Sage on a trade's page opens Sage with a question about that trade, ready for you to send.
- Open in Sage in a day's report, on days with trades.
What Sage reads
For every message, Sage rebuilds its picture of you from your data: your trades, your recent journal notes, your playbooks and the Sage insights you have saved. If something it needs isn't there, it is told to say the evidence is missing rather than guess. It can't read the contents of a chart screenshot.
Each chat starts fresh
Sage has no memory between chats. A new conversation doesn't know what you discussed in an earlier one, and Sage won't promise to follow something up later. Within one conversation, your recent messages go along with each new question.
Carrying something forward
Write it in your journal. Sage reviews are saved to your journal automatically, and Sage reads your journal and saved insights in every chat.

The count resets at midnight UTC. The chat shows how many you have left today. When you run out, Sage replies Daily Sage message limit reached. Each plan also has a daily cap on what Sage's model costs to run, set above normal use; if it is ever reached, you see the same reply.
Each chat message uses one, and so does each Sage review you run from a trade, the trade list, Strategy Lab or a day's report, and each question to Sage in the Charts workspace. Finding setups to sort into playbooks uses one message for each setup Sage names; if your messages run out part-way, the remaining setups still appear, with plain names. The greeting on your dashboard doesn't use one, and if Sage fails to answer a chat message, it isn't counted.
Which model Sage uses
Sage runs on DeepSeek V4 Flash by default. On Pro and Ultimate you can choose from DeepSeek V4 Flash, Luna Pro, Gemini 3.5 Flash Lite in the chat's model picker or in Settings → Sage.
Sorting trades into playbooks
On the Review page, Find my setups groups your unsorted trades into possible setups. For each one, choose Accept → create playbook or Skip (no playbook). Nothing changes until you confirm. Free holds 3 playbooks. More in Reviews & journal.
