Where charts appear
Leaf Edge draws its own charts across the app: on the dashboard, on each trade's page, in the daily report and in the fullscreen Charts workspace. Where a chart has market data, your fills are marked on it. Charts have no plan limit.
In the Charts workspace, Review mode puts your latest trade in that symbol on the chart, so you see the entry and exit in context.
The Charts beta
Charts in the top bar is marked Beta. It shows delayed historical bars for US equities, from 1-minute to daily, and its header says T+1 historical. It is not live market data.
- History starts on 28 March 2023.
- The most recent session appears the next day.
- Futures, crypto, forex and index charts aren't available yet, because the data licence covers US equities only. A paid plan doesn't change this. An option trade is charted on its underlying stock.
Why today's trade has no chart yet
Charts are drawn from end-of-day market data, so today's session reaches the charts the next day. Until then, a trade you took today has no bars to sit on: its chart ends before the trade. Nothing is wrong with the trade. Its fills are listed in the Execution Log on the trade's page, with its P&L. Come back the next day to see it on the chart.
Futures, crypto or forex?
These trades have no market chart, today or later, for the licence reason above. Their fills and P&L are still on the trade's page.
Drawings
The drawing tools include trend lines and Fibonacci retracements. Drawings are saved per symbol and kept with your account, apart from the Measure tool, which isn't saved.
Rapid Scan
Rapid Scan is marked Soon in the top bar. It isn't available yet, on any plan. To practise on past market sessions today, use ReLive.
