Account & privacy

Your password and sign-in, taking a copy of your data, deleting trades or your whole account, and switching off usage statistics.

Password and sign-in

  • Change your password in Settings → Security & data. After a change, your other devices are signed out within 5 minutes.
  • If you sign in with Google, your account has no Leaf Edge password to change.
  • Your sign-in email can't be changed in Settings.
  • You stay signed in on a device for 8 hours, then sign in again.

Take a copy of your data

In Settings → Security & data, Export my data downloads your trades, notes, playbooks and settings as one JSON file.

Delete trades or a broker account

  • Some trades: on Trades, turn on Bulk Review Mode, select the trades and press Delete. Your browser asks you to confirm, and it can't be undone.
  • Everything from one account: on Sync, open that account's menu and choose Delete Account & Data, or Disconnect for a connected broker. Both remove that account's trades straight away, without asking again, so export first if you want a copy.

Delete your account

    Under Delete my account, press Delete account.

    Type your email address to confirm, then press Permanently delete.

This erases your account and all of its data straight away, and it can't be undone. Leaf Edge then tries to remove your journal images and asks Stripe and SnapTrade to delete their records of you. Deleting the Stripe record cancels any subscription. If one of those clean-ups fails, it is logged, not retried automatically, so tell us if you want us to check. Copies in encrypted backups are purged within 90 days.

Want a refund?

Deleting your account doesn't refund a paid plan. Ask for any refund before you delete. See Billing.

Usage statistics and cookies

There is no cookie banner. Leaf Edge counts page views, feature use and page speed with PostHog, using an anonymous identifier that is not linked to your account, email or trades. It doesn't record your sessions, build heatmaps or use the data for advertising.

Usage statistics are on by default. To switch them off, use the Usage statistics switch on the cookie policy page, and that browser stops sending them. Leaf Edge also treats your browser's Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track setting as a request to switch them off.

When you use your account, our servers also record which product steps it completes, such as importing trades or saving a review, under an internal account ID. To object to that, write to hello@auromind.co.uk.

Broker connections

A broker connection is read-only. You sign in on your broker's own site, so Leaf Edge never sees your broker username or password, and the connection can't place an order or move money. See Getting trades in.

Your data rights

The privacy policy explains what we collect and why. We reply to a data-rights request within one month.
