Review a trade
Open a trade from Trades. Its Review card holds three things to fill in:
- Playbook: the setup this trade belongs to, or Skip — no playbook for this trade with a reason.
- Grade: a setup grade (A+ Elite, A Clean, B Playable, C Marginal) and5 execution ratings from 1 to 5 (Entry Timing, Exit Timing, Sizing, Rule Alignment, Missed Opportunity). For Missed Opportunity, a higher rating is worse. The ratings combine into one execution grade from −3 to +3.
- Note: what you planned, what you did and what you learned. Write a review with prompts gives you a structure.
A trade counts as Reviewed once it has a playbook and a note, and a skipped trade shows as Skipped. A playbook, a note or a grade on its own leaves it In progress: a grade never completes a review. Grades save by themselves after a moment. To give many trades a playbook or a skip reason at once, turn on Bulk Review Mode on Trades.
The same card holds Tags. Tags apply to closed round trips, and you organise their categories in Settings → Tags.
The daily report
Click any day on the dashboard calendar, including a day with no trades, to open its Daily Performance Report. The debrief runs in four steps:
- 01Pre-session plan: your watchlist, levels and game plan, with your mindset and energy.
- 02Trades taken: a note on each trade you took.
- 03After-session review: how the session went against the plan.
- 04Sage review: Sage reviews the day. It unlocks once you have written a plan, a trade note or an after-session review.
When every step is done, the day is marked Day reviewed.
The Review page
The Review page brings your whole book together. It isn't in the top bar; links to it sit on the dashboard, in Strategy Lab and on Sync after an import. It has three parts:
- Trade Health Review: a score for your process, out of 100. You can tick Commit to fixing on an issue it finds, and later mark it Kept or Broken.
- Patterns: findings measured from your own history.
- Sort into playbooks: see Playbooks below.
The journal
Start a note with New Entry. Notes take headings, lists, code blocks and images: paste, drop or attach a picture (SVG files aren't accepted). Link Trade ties a note to a trade, and categories such as Pre-Session, After-Session and Hard Lessons keep notes in order.
You can log your mindset (1 Stressed, 2 Distracted, 3 Neutral, 4 Composed, 5 Conviction) and energy (1 Low, 2 Steady, 3 High) on a note, in the Mindset & Energy card or the daily report's pre-session step. Leaf Edge only records what you choose; it doesn't work out your mood for you. Deep Analysis reads the mindset and energy you log back against your results.
Playbooks
The aim is that every trade is either linked to a playbook or marked as an honest no-playbook. Skipping keeps hedges, accidental fills and old trades out of your playbook numbers without deleting them. The reasons are Hedge / Risk Management, Accidental Fill, No Matching Playbook, Legacy Trade (Pre-System), Other.
On the Review page, Find my setups asks Sage to group your unsorted trades into possible setups. Accept one to create a playbook and link its trades, or skip it. Nothing changes until you confirm. Sage uses one of your messages for each setup it names.
Strategy Lab ranks every playbook by what it contributed, and New playbook starts one by hand. Playbooks per plan: Free 3, Pro unlimited, Ultimate unlimited.
Adding or correcting a trade
For a trade Leaf Edge can't import, use Add Trade on Trades and record it as an open position or a completed trade. You can edit a trade you entered by hand. Imported trades keep your broker's numbers: to correct one, re-import the corrected statement. See Getting trades in.
