What's new in Leaf Edge: October 2026

Import guides for every broker, trading puzzles, Coach Studio, chart studies and a command bar, the Founding Member offer and paid plans outside the UK: what shipped in Leaf Edge this autumn, and what is still labelled coming soon.

The short version

Leaf Edge 3.0 went live in June. Since then the releases have landed on a staging copy first and reached production in batches, the last of them on 26 October. This is the list of what you can use today, grouped the way the product is: chart, review, practice, and the plans that pay for it.

Everything below is in production. Where something is still behind a licence or a switch, it says so.

  • Chart: studies, a symbol comparison overlay and a keyboard command bar in the Charts beta; a multi-day trade now shows its entry day on the day it closed.
  • Review: an import guide for every broker, platform and exchange, with an error-code reference; Coach Studio for Sage; AI providers that don't train on your data.
  • Practice: trading puzzles, and ReLive's one-minute replays now form candle by candle from real seconds, with trailing stops and the Mystery Challenge.
  • Plans: the Founding Member offer, paid plans outside the UK, and three free calculators.

Chart: the workspace grew up

The fullscreen Charts workspace is still a beta on delayed T+1 US-equity history, and it is still not live data: the most recent session arrives the next day, and a trade you took today has no bars to sit on until tomorrow. Inside that boundary it gained the things a review chart needs.

Fourteen studies now sit in the indicator library, across trend, momentum, volatility and volume, with saved defaults for each. A comparison overlay draws a second symbol on the same chart as a percentage from a visible baseline, so you can see how your stock moved against its index over the window you traded. And the command bar, on Ctrl+K or by just typing on the chart, takes a symbol, an interval, a study or a layout as a short command. Press ? for the full shortcut list; the help centre carries the same list.

On the review side, a trade held across several days used to appear only on the day it closed, where its P&L is booked. Its card on that day now shows the day it opened too, so a swing trade's chart is the chart you actually sat through.

Review: every broker gets a guide

The single most common question in the first weeks was not about analysis. It was "which file do I export, and where is it?". There is now a guide for every broker, platform and exchange Leaf Edge reads files from, thirty-five in all, each with the export steps, the screens you will see in Leaf Edge, and the honest grade for that route from the brokers page. Interactive Brokers has the deepest set: the Flex query setup for the direct sync, the activity statement, and the read-only SnapTrade route.

Behind the guides sits an error-code reference. When an import refuses a file, the reason now carries a code, and the code has a page: what it means, which rows it affects, and what to do next. A TradingView paper-trading export that mixes forex and futures imports correctly too: forex sized per unit, futures by point value for the contract roots we know, and anything else refused with a reason rather than guessed.

Sage gained Coach Studio. You choose an avatar and one of five coaching styles: balanced, precise, explanatory, devil's advocate or Socratic. Style changes how Sage writes, never what it can see or claim. Every Sage request now also goes only to AI providers that don't train on your data; a model with no complying provider fails rather than falling back.

Practice: puzzles, and a sharper ReLive

Trading puzzles are new. Each one is a real US-equity moment from the licensed history: a position was opened at a named session's close, you see the chart up to the decision session and nothing after it, and you choose what the position does next. Hold, close part, add, or hold with a stop. Then the sessions that followed print and every choice is scored on them, with an author's line that keeps risk defined and is allowed to be wrong. They are on Pro and Ultimate, like ReLive, and never use your own trades.

ReLive itself replays one-minute sessions bar by bar now from real seconds, so a forming candle grows the way it did on the day rather than appearing whole. Trailing stops joined market, limit and stop orders. The lobby offers skill drills on generated candles, three historical moments with an objective each, and a Mystery Challenge that hides the ticker until the session ends.

Plans: the Founding Member offer and paid plans outside the UK

Pricing did not move: Free stays free with unlimited trades, Pro is £29 a month and Ultimate £59, with annual billing at £276 and £564. Two things changed around it.

The Founding Member offer is Pro at £99 a year instead of £276, and the rate holds for as long as the subscription stays continuously active: cancel or let it lapse and a new subscription pays the price of the day. There are fifty seats, and the offer closes at the end of 30 November or when the last seat goes. There is a second door, for time rather than money: the first trader to complete an agreed real-data check on a broker route becomes a Founding Verifier, with a year of Pro and the same rate afterwards. The pricing page shows the seats left as they stand.

Paid plans are now sold outside the UK as well, in the countries listed on the billing help page. In the UK you pay the listed price at checkout as before; elsewhere the plan is sold through Onelink, a Stripe service that acts as the merchant of record, so the GBP price includes any tax and checkout shows your final price and currency.

And on every plan, including Free, Joe, who builds Leaf Edge, will help you bring your trades in and review the first one with you, by email or a short call. The contact page has a form for it. Three free calculators, for R-multiple, expectancy and breakeven win rate, went up for anyone to use, no account needed.

What is still labelled coming soon

Rapid Scan, the setup scanner, is built and stays switched off in production. Its scans need same-session intraday bars and whole-market daily snapshots, and the licence we hold covers delayed US-equity history only. It will say coming soon until that changes, and nothing on this site will say otherwise.

If a broker you use has no guide yet, or a file would not import, write to us. The next guide is usually the one someone asked for. From now on every release is listed on the changelog page as it reaches production.
